User Guide: DSim Cloud CLI

This reference manual serves as a guide to all commands and switches available for the DSim Cloud CLI (mdc).

Name

mdc

• Create and manage DSim Cloud Interactive workspaces and their contents

Synopsis

mdc [<command>] [<sub-command>] [options]

The synopsis for each command below shows its parameters and their usage. Optional parameters are shown in square brackets.

NOTE: Most commands of the mdc (other than the help and auth commands) require you to be authenticated, prior to executing. See User Guide: DSim Cloud CLI auth command for more information.

Help

Use mdc <command> -h[elp] for information on a specific command. Use mdc -h to view a list of available help topics. If an invalid command is entered, an error will be printed to the screen with suggestions on how to get more help.

Commands

auth Authenticate to Metrics.

download Download any single file from the remote storage.

envs List out all the environment variables.

initialize Create the local workspace for use with all DSim Cloud tools.

job Manage your jobs for regressions.

list List out the files and folders in the remote workspace directory.

status Print a general status of jobs and remote workspaces.

view wave View a waveform file.

workspace Manage your remote workspace.

simulator commands Run DSim simulator commands.
