User Guide: DSim Cloud CLI

This reference manual serves as a guide to all commands and switches available for the DSim Cloud CLI (mdc).

Name

mdc

• Create and manage DSim Cloud Interactive workspaces and their contents

Synopsis

mdc [<command>] [<sub-command>] [options]

The synopsis for each command below shows its parameters and their usage. Optional parameters are shown in square brackets.

NOTE: Most commands of the mdc (other than the help and auth commands) require you to be authenticated, prior to executing. See User Guide: DSim Cloud CLI auth command for more information.

Help

Use mdc <command> -h[elp] for information on a specific command. Use mdc -h to view a list of available help topics. If an invalid command is entered, an error will be printed to the screen with suggestions on how to get more help.

Use mdc --version to display the version of your mdc.

Commands

auth: Authentication commands.

download: Download a file from the remote workspace.

envs: List environment variables.

initialize: Initialize a directory for use with all DSim tools.

job: Job commands for managing regressions.

list: List all files in a directory of the remote workspace. Similar to dir/ls.

mkdir: Create a directory on the remote workspace, making parent directories if needed.

status: Show basic status information for DSim Cloud.

view: View commands.

workspace: Remote workspace management commands.

simulator commands: Run DSim simulator commands.
