Limitation: DSim run time performace degrades with Altair Units License

Problem

DSim run time performance significantly degrades when using the Altair Units License. This results in long simulation run times. DSim compile time is not affected.

Workaround

Use the Free Individual License. See Licensing for details.

Cause

The run time performance degradation is proportional to the number of clock events experienced in a simulation.
