As part of Altair Engineering’s acquisition of Metrics Design Automation, DSim is now a part of the Altair family of products.
Highlights:
- Rebranding to Altair
- DSim Desktop has been renamed DSim Studio and is published as a new extension in the VSCode Marketplace
- Altair One account replaces the Metrics account for access to licensing and DSim Cloud
What You Need to Know
Your DSim Cloud account remains intact, but to access new releases of the DSim suite of tools, you will need to log in using an Altair One account.
You can continue to use all DSim tools as before. Your data and subscription is still intact. Individual free licenses and automation tokens also remain valid.
Where to Access DSim Products
You can find all the DSim products in the Altair One Marketplace.
- DSim: Installers are now located in the Altair One Marketplace.
- DSim Cloud: Continue using it at https://app.metricsvcloud.com.
- DSim Studio: Formerly DSim Desktop, is available in the VSCode Marketplace.
DSim support has moved to the Altair Community, offering a centralized and improved support experience. For details, please visit https://help.metrics.ca
